Adam Berkley Fleenor

29 May 1841 - 04 Mar 1922

Adam served in the Civil War for the Confederacy. 
He first enlisted 02 May 1862 at the age of 21 in Co. C, 50th VA Infantry Regiment. 
He re-enlisted in Co. F, 30th SS Battn Regiment. 
By 09 July 1864 he was a POW at Harper's Ferry and was confined 
at Washington, DC and Elmira, NY before being released 17 May 1865.

Adam Berkley Fleenor's parents were Allen and Sarah (Hobbs) Fleenor. 
Adam was married to Ellen Clark, daughter of James and Elizabeth (Fleenor) Clark 
on 25 Jan 1866 in Washington Co, VA by Willis Ingle. 
Their children include: Martha W (born 1867; married William Worley 07 Jan 1886),
 James J (born 1869), Flora (born 1871), Isaac B (born 1874), 
Hugh D (born Apr 1877), Benjamin C (born 1879), Annie (1881 - 1888), 
Dora M (born Apr 1884; married John Miller c. 1904).
